Edit properties from the widget
Update supported Notion properties from a NotiZen Android widget without opening the full Notion page.
What property editing means
Property editing lets you tap a supported property shown in a Custom View widget and send the change back to Notion, depending on your widget configuration. It is included in the first free widget and is meant for small workflow updates, not full page editing.
Supported widget edits
- Checkbox properties can be toggled from the widget.
- Date properties can be updated from the widget date flow.
- Select properties can be changed by choosing one available option.
- Status properties can be changed by choosing one available status option, including grouped statuses when Notion provides groups.
Multi-select properties can be shown and used in filters, but inline multi-select bindings are read-only in the current widget UI.
If a property is not editable
- Check that the property is an editable type: checkbox, date, select, or status.
- Check that the property is part of the Custom View configuration or inline slot you are tapping.
- Open Notion for page body edits or property types NotiZen keeps read-only.
- Refresh the widget if you changed the database schema recently.
