Share Notion pages and databases

Give the NotiZen integration access to the databases you want to use, either directly or through pages that contain them.

Why sharing matters

Notion integrations work with explicit access. In Notion, you authorize content; after you return, NotiZen loads the databases it can access and lets you choose a database source.

If you authorize Notion but share no relevant content, NotiZen may connect successfully while the database picker stays empty. A database may also be missing if neither it nor a page that contains it was shared.

Share the right content

  1. 1Open Update shared pages in NotiZen.
  2. 2In Notion, find the database you want to make available, or a page that contains it.
  3. 3Keep any existing content you still need available and select the relevant new content.
  4. 4Confirm access.
  5. 5Return to NotiZen and reload the database picker.

Why don't I see my Notion databases?

If your Notion databases do not appear in NotiZen Widget, the connection may be complete while the database you need is not accessible to NotiZen.

  1. 1Open Update shared pages.
  2. 2In Notion, find the database you want to use, or a page that contains it.
  3. 3Select the relevant content.
  4. 4Confirm access.
  5. 5Return to NotiZen and try again.

When something is still missing

  • Check that you made the database accessible directly or through a page that contains it.
  • A parent page can make contained databases accessible when Notion permits it, depending on the page structure and the access Notion grants.
  • Make sure you connected the same Notion workspace where the database lives.
  • Reconnect Notion if you changed accounts or removed the integration in Notion.
