FAQ

Short answers about Notion accounts, widgets, sharing pages, offline behavior, updates, support, and additional Pro widgets.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Notion account?+
Yes. NotiZen works with Notion databases and pages, so you need a Notion account with content you want to show.
Does NotiZen replace Notion?+
No. Notion remains the source of truth. NotiZen gives selected Notion workflows a focused Android widget surface.
Can I use several widgets?+
Yes. Your first complete widget is free with no time limit. NotiZen Pro is required only for additional widgets, and each one has the same complete feature set.
Is the free widget a trial?+
No. The free widget does not expire and includes all supported widget features. There is currently no Pro free trial.
Why do I have to share pages with NotiZen?+
Notion integrations only access content you share with them. This is why connecting Notion and making a database accessible, directly or through a page that contains it, are separate steps.
Why don't I see my Notion databases?+
If a database does not appear, open "Update shared pages", find that database in Notion or a page that contains it, select the relevant content, confirm access, then return to NotiZen and try again.
Does NotiZen work offline?+
NotiZen can keep previously rendered widget content visible, but setup, fresh Notion data, Google Calendar events, and property edits need network access.
How do updates work?+
App updates come from Google Play. NotiZen may show an update banner when a newer version is available or when a downloaded update needs to be applied.
Where can I get support?+
Use the support page for setup help, feedback, and community links.
