FAQ
Short answers about Notion accounts, widgets, sharing pages, offline behavior, updates, support, and Pro.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Notion account?+-
Yes. NotiZen works with Notion databases and pages, so you need a Notion account with content you want to show.
Does NotiZen replace Notion?+-
No. Notion remains the source of truth. NotiZen gives selected Notion workflows a focused Android widget surface.
Can I use several widgets?+-
Yes with Pro. Free keeps one widget with one Custom View after the trial, and Pro unlocks multiple widgets plus additional Custom Views.
Why do I have to share pages with NotiZen?+-
Notion integrations only access pages and databases you share with them. This is why connecting Notion and sharing a database are separate steps.
Why don't I see my Notion databases?+-
If your Notion databases do not appear, the most common reason is that no pages were shared with the Notion integration. Open "Update shared pages", tap "Select pages" in Notion, choose "Select all" for the fastest setup or only the database or parent page for more privacy, tap "Allow access", then return to NotiZen and try again.
Does NotiZen work offline?+-
NotiZen can keep previously rendered widget content visible, but setup, fresh Notion data, Google Calendar events, and property edits need network access.
How do updates work?+-
App updates come from Google Play. NotiZen may show an update banner when a newer version is available or when a downloaded update needs to be applied.
Where can I get support?+-
Use the support page for setup help, feedback, and community links.
Could not find the answer?
Support can help with setup, missing Notion databases, billing questions, and Android widget behavior.
